UPHORIUM! (We Made This)
A ridiculous, heartfelt and highly theatrical lecture-demonstration on UPHORIUM, its precepts, particularities, conundrums and provocations. With experts, singing, meaningful gestures, movement, research, references to puppies, dancing and muffins.
Conceived and directed by Catherine Mueller. Created and presented in Spring 2015 with an ensemble from the International Performance Ensemble at PACE University (NYC). Performances in February, 2016 on Theater Row in NYC. In May, 2016 UPHORIUM! travels to present at an International Theater Festival.

BIENVENUE! Capucine hosts her very own talk show in pursuit of beauty and honest exchange. With her butler, she blends artifice with the genuine, blurring the lines of performer/audience exchange while baking brownies, receiving mail and interviewing guests. In development.
MOSES Erin believes her cat Moses was sent to her by God, and she espouses enthusiastically to the audience about the healing powers of Jesus, Moses and Roberta Flack. A solo-performance play.
THE BOY ON THE BUS A young woman falls in love with a boy while riding opposite him on a bus. When their connection is nearly severed, she discovers the power of her thoughts in enabling her to get what she wants. A solo-performance play.
THE CAT PROJECT A year spent interviewing women ages 6-93 about their relationship to their cats distilled into a nine-character solo-performance play exploring the giving and receiving of unconditional love, acceptance and attachment.
